Agnes lives in one of Uganda's most remote and poorest communities in need of some of life's most basic needs such as clean water and electricity. There is such a high illiteracy rate in her community due to the lack of enough education centers to accommodate the big population of children.

Agnes also comes from a very poor family, staying with both her parents who have struggled to support their children. They have on different occasions had one meal in a day at home. Even in such difficulty, it's very moving to see how Agnes' illiterate father highly values education, and how much he wishes that his children get the opportunity that he never got. He has failed to raise the support needed to have his children like Agnes in school, yet she is very brilliant.

Since education is not free in Uganda, Agnes has often missed school due to lack of tuition and the necessary support. The few times she has been present in school, she has scored good grades. It is Agnes' dream to be a doctor, a dream she will only realize if she can consistently remain in school and work as hard as she has been doing. Would you consider to help her realize her dream.
