Hatim lost his father.  He, the third born, his brother and sister were taken in by their father’s other wife. Hatim’s step-mother with whom he lives has five children. Hatim’s father has two other wives with whom he has five children making a total of twelve children.  The other wives abandoned their children leaving them with their father.  Providing for most of the children’s necessities is a very heavy load over Hatim’s father’s shoulders.  Supporting Hatim’s education will be a tremendous help and encouragement to his family.
