John comes from a family of 3 boys and 3 girls. He is the third born and lives with both parents. His parents are peasant farmer who grows corn, plantains, and beans. The family shares a temporary single roomed house built out of mud and bamboo.  John's family is so poor that his parents can't afford to pay for his school tuition and provide him with school supplies.  John loves singing, especially to praise God.
