Rose is the second born child of two girls and one boy. Her parents separated when Rose was about three years old. Rose’s mother abandoned her and her siblings to their father who remarried. Rose’s step-mother loves her and showers her with the love that her mother never gave her. Rose's step-mother works hand in hand with Rose's father to make sure that Rose lives a better life, however they often fall short of providing for Rose's needs due to lack of income.  Rose's father and step-mother grow crops for a living but they earn very little income.
