I live with my mother in one of the congested slums of Kampala city. I have one young brother, Arafat and no sister. Father abandoned us. Since then, mother has always struggled to provide for us. She buys and sells vegetables. However, this earns her so little that she cannot provide for most of our needs. I love being at school, learning new things and making friends. At home, I help mother to clean up the house, wash dishes and take care of Arafat.
